Gauri Farms - It's a Natural Farm

Our Beginning

We didn't start as farmers. We started as Software Engineers, working long hours, chasing deadlines, and living the fast-paced corporate life.

Like many in the tech world, our days were structured around meetings, code, and constant pressure. Health took a back seat. Meals were quick, convenient—and often unquestioned.

That's when everything changed. A close health scare in the family made us stop and ask: do we actually know what we're eating? We started reading labels, researching food systems, and realised how disconnected we had become from our food and soil.

So we made a quiet decision — to go back to the basics. We found land in Telangana, brought home our first Kankrej cow (Gauri), planted fruit trees, and started over. Slowly. Patiently. Honestly.

Our Services

Our Cattle

Gauri, our first indigenous Kankrej cow, inspired the name of our farm. The Kankrej breed is known for its hardiness and high-quality milk. Each of our cows and calves has a unique name, reflecting the personal bond we share with them — from Gauri to our most playful calves, they are cared for with love and respect in a natural environment.

Gauri is the first cow we welcomed into our farm, around 2018.

🐄 Shivudu

Shivudu is the son of Gauri, a gentle and playful one who loves to run in the fields.

🐂 Nandu

Nandu is the son of Gauri — a strong and healthy bull known for his gentle nature and dedication to the farm.

🐄 Kaveri

Kaveri is a gentle and nurturing cow known for her warmth. She is emotionally attached to all of us — we spend at least 30 minutes with her every visit to the farm.

🐄 Shambhu

Shambhu is a playful and energetic calf who loves to run around the fields — the youngest of all, recently born.

🐄 Ganga

Ganga is our naughty girl and is currently pregnant — we're expecting a new calf in a couple of months!

What We Grow & Raise

Natural Farming

Growing Vegetables — Drumsticks, Green Chilli, Brinjal, Bottle Gourd, and Leafy Vegetables.

Livestock — Cows & Hens

Natural eggs from our free-range hens and fresh A2 milk from cows fed only natural feed.

Fruit Production

Growing Mango, Papaya, Sitaphal, Ramaphal, Lakshmaphal, Guava, Black Jamun, and Litchi — all without chemical fertilizers.
